Somewhere, someone is quoting Jesus. He would like a word.
“God helps those who help themselves” came from Benjamin Franklin’s almanac. “Cleanliness is next to godliness” comes from a John Wesley sermon. “God won’t give you more than you can handle” is a misreading of a verse about temptation. We all do it: we pin a comfortable idea on Jesus because it sounds like something He’d say. This shirt is the reaction we’ve earned. Open the Book and read the red letters, then check before you quote. Printed on the Bella+Canvas 3001: soft, lightweight, and accurately sourced.
